This is a permanent fulltime position commencing as soon as possible in Term 3, 2022. Remuneration will be as per Level 5 of the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010, depending on qualifications and experience.Key Responsibilities:Assist the OSHC Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including key support in the following areas:Program planning, delivery and documentation.Compliance and workplace health and safety.Coordination and delivery of a high quality, inclusive, education program including staff activities.Administration and financial management tasks (e.g., fee collection).Staff supervision to service needs.Provision of a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment for children.Skills, Experiences and Attributes:Diploma level qualifications in Children’s Services or equivalent as per ACECQO guidelines.Demonstrated experience working in similar roles and environmentDemonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Standard, National Framework and OSHC Curriculum – My Time Our Place.Ability to develop and coordinate age-appropriate OSHC education programs, resources and activities.Demonstrated ability to interact positively with a diverse group of children with differing learning preferences and needs, while showing initiative and flexibility.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate sensitively, empathetically and confidentially with parents, colleagues and other external parties.Effective workplace communication and supervisory skills.Possession of a current Working with Children Blue Card prior to commencement, and First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificates.Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive communities and accept the responsibility to uphold the Christian Ethos, including core values of care, dignity & respectIdentification with St Peters’ professional behaviours of trust, accountability, unconditional positive regard and open communication and feedback and apply these in all that you doA copy of the position description can be found below.To apply for this position, please submit your resume and cover letter via this link.
