This engagement will be managed in accordance with the College’s Procurement Policy and Procedures.Scope of Work and Services RequiredThe successful contractor will:Deliver high-quality and engaging one-on-one or small group tuition of students from Years 1-12.Support students in preparing for performances, exams (must be able to prepare Diploma level repertoire), competitions, and College events.Monitor and assess student progress, providing meaningful and constructive feedback. Create a positive, enthusiastic, and supportive learning environment that reflects the College’s commitment to excellence.Contribute to the ongoing growth, innovation, and performance culture of the St Peters Performing Arts Program.DurationCommencing July 2026Term-time deliveryUp to 25 hours of tuition a weekContract duration to be confirmed following evaluationLocationOn-site at St Peters Lutheran College, Springfield Contractor ProfileQualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Music, Music Education, Performance, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience teaching piano, vocal, or speech & communication across a range of ages and abilities but with a particular focus on Year 1-12.Experience in ensemble direction and chamber music coaching (highly regarded).Strong pedagogical knowledge, including technique development and appropriate repertoire selection.Understanding of AMEB, Trinity or other recognised examination systems.Ability to inspire students and foster a growth-minded practice culture.About YouYou are an enthusiastic and motivational educator who brings energy, skill, and a genuine love of teaching music and performance. Piano, Vocal, and Speech & Communication Tuition

St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking expressions of interest from qualified independent contractors to provide student tuition. This engagement will be managed in accordance with the College’s Procurement Policy and Procedures.

Scope of Work and Services Required

The successful contractor will:

  • Deliver high-quality and engaging one-on-one or small group tuition of students from Years 1-12.

  • Up to 25 hours of tuition a week

Contractor Profile

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Music, Music Education, Performance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching piano, vocal, or speech & communication across a range of ages and abilities but with a particular focus on Year 1-12.
