This standalone, hands-on role is pivotal in ensuring the health and safety of our staff, students, and visitors across all three campuses: Indooroopilly, Springfield, and Ironbark. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the College's health and safety function, promoting a positive risk culture, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of the College’s health and safety system, policies, and procedures. Develop and deliver annual health and safety training programs for staff. Provide strategic guidance to staff and leadership teams. Promote a centralised and best practice approach to embed health and safety across all operations. Collaborate with staff to identify hazards, risks, and areas for improvement. Establish and maintain a robust health and safety reporting system. Ensure compliance with applicable work health and safety legislation. Manage day-to-day administration relevant to the role. What You Bring A relevant tertiary degree qualification in workplace health and safety or a related discipline, and/or extensive relevant work experience. Comprehensive knowledge of WHS Act, Regulations, and relevant governing bodies. Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of risk management principles, health and safety trends, and incident investigation methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Highly developed organisational and time management skills. Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.  How to Apply To apply, please submit your cover letter and curriculum vitae, demonstrating how you meet the requirements of the Position Description by clicking on the Apply button provided. About the Role
