About the Role
The Food Services Kitchen Hand Assistant supports the day-to-day operation of the College’s Boarding dining services. You will assist with food preparation, service, and kitchen tasks while providing friendly and efficient service to boarding students and staff.
Working as part of the Food Services team and reporting to the relevant supervisor, you will help maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and service while contributing to a positive and supportive boarding community.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, serving meals, and general kitchen duties in the Boarding dining area
Provide friendly and efficient customer service to boarding students and staff
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
Set up, restock, and pack down dining and service areas
Operate kitchen and catering equipment safely following procedures
Support the Food Services team with daily operations and other duties as required
