We are seeking applications for a part-time, term-time Cafe Coordinator to manage operations of the Springfield Heart Cafe for a 12 month contract in 2021. The successful candidate would need to be available to commence from Monday 18 January 2020.Reporting to the Principal of our Springfield school and our Food Services Manager (based at Indooroopilly), the successful candidate will manage day to day operations of the Heart Cafe including ordering and liaising with suppliers, managing catering requests, themed days, coordinating maintenance of the Cafe and its equipment. The role is also responsible for planning meals and snacks that are nutritional and cater to dietary requirements for customers. In addition, the successful candidate must have experience with or be a qualified barista.There are two other team members who report in to this position, however this role is still highly customer facing.About you:You have demonstrated experience overseeing or working in a fast-paced café environment.
