We are seeking a Teacher or Boarding professional with experience in Boarding leadership to join our leadership team at St Peters. As a Boarding House Leader, you will utilise your skills and teamwork abilities to create a positive experience for both the students and staff. Being a compassionate and caring person, you will always priorities the welfare and well-being of the students under your care.
Duties:

Establish foundational relationships with students.

Provide mentorship and guidance throughout their educational journey.

Implement behaviour management practices within the Boarding House.

Organise and supervise recreational activities, encouraging participation.

Transport students to sporting events as required.

Coordinate dorm duties, including laundry.
Boarding at St Peters operates 7 days per week during term times. Boarding House Leaders positions are full-time, shifts as follows:

Full-time positions (Non-Teaching) annualised, which includes fours shifts per week across 4 days per week, evening and day shifts, and rotating evenly between one Friday and one weekend on a four-week cycle.

or Full-time Teaching/Boarding (.6 FTE) two nights per week, rotating evenly between one Friday and one weekend on a four-week cycle.

Either a Teaching or Community Services qualification or experience in a similar role

Proven experience working with youth

A current QLD driver’s license
