This is a senior operational role that ensures our facilities remain safe, functional and aligned with the needs of a contemporary learning environment.In this role, you will:Lead and develop the Facilities and Grounds team.Manage reactive, preventative and programmed maintenance programs.Plan and supervise capital works, upgrades, and improvement projects.Coordinate and oversee contractors, trades and service providers.Ensure compliance with OHS legislation, Essential Safety Measures and College policies.Conduct audits, safety inspections and emergency procedure reviews.Maintain accurate records, documentation, permits and reporting.Manage budgets, procurement and vendor agreements.Provide strategic advice on asset management, sustainability, and long-term facility planning.ABOUT YOU You’re a methodical problem-solver with a strong grasp of compliance, safety,and asset management. ABOUT THE ROLE

You will also have:

  • Proven experience in facilities and maintenance management
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and permit
    processes
  • Excellent project management and contractor coordination skills
    Budgeting and procurement expertise
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, or related
    fields
  • A commitment to safety, continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
