Key elements of the strategies focus on opportunities to re-imagine learning that enables members of our school community to be creative, self-directed and critical thinkers, who are inspired to learn, and whose natural inquisitiveness is nurtured and who strive for excellence.THE POSITION The College Admissions Officer is a member of the Development Team, which brings together all activities which impact on the College’s relationships with its internal and  external  community  and  includes  fundraising,  student  recruitment, major events, brand management, marketing and communications, advertising, public,  community  and media relations. An integrated and dedicated approach to these activities ensures that the community understands and supports the College’s mission.The main elements of the role include but are not limited to;Proactively develop enrolment processes through data collection, analysis, reflection and demographic segmentationManage the end-to-end process of admissions with a particular focus on the continuous improvement of the on-line enrolment process to ensure sustainability, financial viability and data entry efficiencyIdentify and execute creative ways to promote enrolment at the CollegeSupport the Development Team in building partnerships with primary schools, and promoting pathways for entry to the CollegeMaintain awareness of competitor activity and market changes both locally and nationally to inform innovation and continuous improvement in enrolment practicesPioneer innovative ideas and concepts to support the goals of the Development Office teamLead in the planning, preparation, promotion and management of College events such as Discovery day, including logistics planning and coordination of staff on the dayGather, report on and manage risks and data associated with enrolment levels throughout the yearFacilitate the enrolment process for incoming students with specific focus on data and information management, internal process oversight and support to familiesCollaborate with the Transition Co-ordinator and other internal stakeholders to ensure a supported transition for new students and familiesBuild strong relationships with prospective families whilst promptly responding in a friendly, sensitive and professional manner to all enrolment enquiries through various channels, eg phone, email etcWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The successful candidate will bring fresh eyes to a critical role within the College. Partnering with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, the College Admissions Officer will work collaboratively and dynamically to establish and drive effective partnerships both within the College and the wider community.As a forward thinker with a focus on process improvement, the successful candidate will have a passion for improving outcomes that ensure efficient and effective admission practices.Proven experience and qualifications required include:Relevant experience in analysing data, identify trends and developing innovative strategies for successful outcomes High level experience in an administrative role with a key focus on attention to detail and proactive, timely, and efficient outputSound capability to alternate between independence and self-direction, and collaboration and team partnershipsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholdersExperience in managing highly confidential and sensitive information/data High level IT skills, particularly in relation to Microsoft Office, Google Suites and other database programs  Ability to demonstrate clever and creative approaches to increasing customer engagement, considering the local environment and community/marketing trendsCurrent Working with Children Check and Police Check in addition to a commitment to ensuring a child safe environment for all studentsA sound understanding of legislation, compliance and policies/procedures relevant to this roleDesirable experience includes:Experience in an educational and/or admissions environmentExperience in event management and/or customer serviceExperience with Synergetic databaseA current Victorian Drivers LicenceIn addition to a supportive environment, with an encouraging culture, this ongoing role provides an opportunity for personal and professional development.
