sass & bide is a highly creative Australian designer label dedicated to the strong, the obscure & the beautiful, leading the culture of fashion for bold and individualistic women.Each collection is defined by sass & bide's dedication to women of ageless spirit connected to a sophisticated and liberating style of relaxation and adornment.An exciting and unique opportunity has become available for a Textile Graphic Designer to join the sass & bide family in our beautiful Support Office in Alexandria.You will be working closely with the Creative Director and Designers to design unique and original graphic tees, embellishment and prints.Key responsibilities include:Work collaboratively with creative director, designers on seasonal concepts, moods, colours and printsContribute ideas and suggestions in response to creative briefDevelop Graphic/placement prints for Tees, embellishment, print, for each range using both hand rendered and computer based mediasEnsuring an informed and thorough hand over of print or embellishment design and all actions regarding each design to the product developerUpdate technical sketches from proto fits and production fitsLiaising with the pattern makers on technical issuesManage filing of all fashion team studio resources including trim and embellishment filesManage your design workload to ensure all complete meet deadlinesBe able to research print trendsWe are seeking the following attributes:Have a passion for and understanding of the sass & bide brand and global womenswear apparel;Minimum of 5 years commercial experience;Highly creative and innovate with a high attention to detail;Extensive experience with Adobe illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign;Ability to work collaboratively within a high performing team;Enjoy being hands on, reactive and tactical in solving problems;Be energetic and have a can-do attitude;Ability to multi-task and work towards deadlines;Have high attention to detail, proactive and strong use of initiative;Have sound ability to plan, organise and prioritise your work;Ability to work under minimal supervision;Take ownership and accountability of your work and results; andLove our brand and be proud to be our key brand ambassador!What we offer:Opportunity to work with a highly creative Australian Designer Label;Generous employee discount;Ongoing training and development; andFun working environment!Finding the right cultural fit is important to us; we have an amazing collection of creative, clever and inspiring people who work hard and have fun together.
