You’re a true ambassador for the brand you work with and this shines through in the service you deliver to your clients.  You love to be the go –to contact for Weddings and ensuring the Bride & Grooms are wowed on their special day.  Your focus will be on ensuring your clients’ needs are anticipated and met, and ensuring every interaction they have with our hotel is exceptional.The roleReporting to our Conference & Events Manager, you role will encompass:Handling incoming wedding & event enquiries and responses in the first instanceProvide tailored wedding / event proposals (according to hotel standards) within a 24 hour periodResponsibility for growth of target markets within the events categories and all market segmentsBuild and enhance client relationships via face to face appointments, site inspections, and represent the hotel including attendance at external events as required by the Director of Sales and MarketingGenerate reports for Financial Controller and General Manager on requestWorking in a team environment to achieve monthly KPI’s and key targetsWeekly and monthly reporting with a focus on new business opportunities and competitor analysisSome details:To be successful in joining our Royal family, you will possess:Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and eveningsAbility to build strong relationships with both external and internal customersAttention to detail and excellent organisational skills a necessityPrevious experience using Opera PMS & Sales and Catering (desirable)Excellent communication and time management skillsThe OfferThe successful candidate will enjoy excellent working conditions, career development and training opportunities.
