Brisbane's Leading Independent Hotel is currently seeking a full-time Kitchen Hand.Guaranteed 38 hours with all the benefits awarded to a full-time roleGreat career opportunity to build a career within the hospitality industryDiscounted parking and food & beverageSupportive, fun and friendly work environment About the RoleReporting to the Executive Chef, our Kitchen Hands are responsible for ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently whilst adhering to strict food safety regulations.Tasks include: Work as a team member within the Kitchen and service team assisting in washing crockery, cutlery and other cooking equipment.In accordance with government regulations, you will ensure that all cleaning and sanitising is adhered to, this includes the compactor, recycling area, benchtops, refrigerators and storerooms.Ensure the correct handling and cleaning of all equipment.Assist the department with food preparation, storage and rotation.Ensure that quality food control standards are maintained as outlined within the Kitchen’s policies and procedures.
