The roleReporting to our Conference & Events Manager, your role will encompass:Handling incoming wedding & event enquiries and responses in the first instanceProvide tailored wedding/event proposals (according to hotel standards) within 24 hoursResponsibility for the growth of target markets within the events categories and all market segments Build and enhance client relationships via face-to-face appointments, site inspections, and represent the hotel, including attendance at external events as required by the Director of Sales and MarketingGenerate reports for the Financial Controller and the General Manager on requestWorking in a team environment to achieve monthly KPI’s and key targetsWeekly and monthly reporting with a focus on new business opportunities and competitor analysis Some details:To be successful in joining our Royal family, you will possess:Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)Although the role is Monday to Friday, there will be a need for flexibility to work weddings on weekends and evenings.Ability to build strong relationships with both external and internal customersAttention to detail and excellent organisational skills are a necessity Previous experience using Opera PMS & Sales and Catering (desirable)Excellent communication and time management skillsThe OfferThe successful candidate will enjoy excellent working conditions, career development and training opportunities. The role
