This iconic property is renowned for offering tradition, elegance and exceptional customer service.With an analytical mind and passion for numbers, you’ll have an ability to translate numbers in a meaningful way to those less fluent in figures.As Royal on the Park’s Revenue Manager, you will report directly to the Rooms Division Manager and be responsible for driving rate and inventory strategies to ensure the Hotel achieves maximum revenue and occupancy.You will enjoy working with a close-knit team, all committed to achieving the best outcomes for the business.About the rolePrepare and execute action plans to increase reservation sales and associated businessReview existing and create new strategies to ensure maximisation of revenueDeveloping rooms-based marketing activities while building relationships with travel agents and corporate accountsRegular reporting including forecasting, holdings and month end analysisManage the Hotel’s distribution channelsMaintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to maximise salesOversee the day-to-day functions of the Reservations team, guiding and encouraging the team to maximise revenue opportunities About youStrong knowledge and experience in revenue and yield functions as well as reservationsA good understanding of industry trends, events and market performance (preferably in the Brisbane market)Proficient in Hotel systems including GDS, Channel Managers, Opera and advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelSound knowledge of the RFP processStrong attention to detail and numerical, analytical and problem solving skillsStrong oral and written communicationAbility to interact professionally with customers, team members and Senior ManagersAbility to work well in a teamBenefitsThe successful candidate will enjoy excellent working conditions, career development and training opportunities.
