Food and Beverage Supervisor

A great opportunity exists for a Food & Beverage Supervisor at one of the city’s most iconic hotels, Royal on the Park Hotel. Located in the CBD, opposite the stunning Botanic Gardens, few hotels in Brisbane can boast the rich history that comes with Royal on the Park and The Walnut Restaurant. Food & Beverage plays an important part in our day-to-day operations - including large-scale events in our Sir Charles Kingsford Smith Ballroom, elegant weddings, intimate dinners in the Walnut Restaurant, meetings and conferences in our numerous function rooms and a 24/7 food and beverage service for our in-house guests.About the roleProvide efficient, friendly and professional service to support Food and Beverage operationsIdentify and ensure guest needs, wants, and expectations are met across both the food and beverage spacesCommunicate effectively with all departments, including Kitchen and Front Office to ensure a positive guest experienceAssist across all services when required, including Bar, in-room dining, and restaurantLead, train and motivate staff to provide exceptional Customer service.      Manage inventory and stock control  Supervise staff on each shift, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.About you1-2 years’ experience in a Food and Beverage supervisory role preferred.A strong commitment to customer service, leadership and the ability to work well under pressureExcellent verbal & written communication skills and a strong attention to detailFlexibility to work across a seven-day rosterCurrent Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is a must.BenefitsThe successful candidate will enjoy excellent working conditions, career development and training opportunities.
