You will be responsible for ensuring our top clients receive the royal treatment on every visit so you’ll be a relationship expert who can anticipate any need and deliver tailored solutions that ensure your clients feel valued. The roleWorking closely with the Marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on your own sales collateral and decide how best to pitch the hotel based on your knowledge of the client and their needs. We are an independent hotel which allows for a more flexible approach to your work – a bit more ‘constitutional’ than ‘monarchy’. Lean on your creativity to make the role your own. You will be attending networking and events and nurturing your industry contacts as well as wining and dining your clients; retention is key. Whilst flexibility is important, after-hours networking will be required once or twice a month, with some interstate travel a handful of times each year. Whilst you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, your focus will be on ensuring our existing clients needs are anticipated and met, and ensuring every interaction they have with our hotel is exceptional. This isn’t your typical sales role, so you can consider cold calls and endless appointment scheduling a thing of the past!
