Mobile Patient CareOur Mobile Patient Care offers non-emergency patient transport (NEPT) services across metropolitan, regional and rural Australia. Our highly qualified team transports patients between hospitals, homes, and specialist care facilities as comfortably as possible, and with efficiency. Our road and air infrastructure provide a network of door to door NEPT.Position PurposeTo provide leadership and management support to mobile patient care crews, branch support, team leaders & area leaders and ensure safe, efficient and professional clinical service delivery in line with regulations and appropriate to the needs of the patients we are entrusted to care for.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesModels high level leadership attribute, builds staff engagement & professionalismProven leadership in the adaptation & application of concepts to operational matters in the relevant geographical footprintResponsible for a safe & productive operational workplace for all in accordance with RDS Vic Values & relevant OHS legislationResponsible for identifying innovative solutions to operational challenges that foster continuous improvementNegotiations with stakeholders & peers to meet service delivery & contractual obligations, including matters related to fleet, equipment, medication management, stores, rostering and training.Contributes operational & local knowledge to business planning and decision making processesIdentifies and responds to new & emergency issues impacting on real time service delivery, including optimal use of fleet & equipment to reduce cost & risk Key Selection Criteria Qualifications or experience in Business &/or Operations &/ or Health Sector desirable – Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalentManagement & leadership in dynamic operational environments, working knowledge of NEPT industry desirableWorking knowledge of occupational health & safety matters, work cover management & risk managementGoal oriented with excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills & demonstrated customer / client focusExcellent problem solving, organisational and planning skillsAbility to build & maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholdersRequired to reside within geographical footprint of relevant RegionThis is a rare opportunity to work for an iconic Australian organisation that promotes a supportive and inclusive working culture.
