Program Manager – Memory Lane – Part-time Fixed-term until 30 November 2023

About the OrganisationProudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides emergency aeromedical and allied health services for people in rural and remote Australia. We strive towards improving the health and well-being of our rural communities and believe in creating opportunities so all Victorians have the choice to access essential primary healthcare services.Memory Lane is a service for people receiving end-of-life or palliative care. It provides an opportunity for them to go to a place of personal significance – this could be heading to a favourite beach to feel the sand between their toes, returning home to spend a few hours in their own bed (there’s nothing like your own bed after all), attending the wedding of someone dear to them or a final drive around the family farm. Two to three family members, friends and carers can accompany Memory Lane clients in our custom vehicles, and others sometimes join separately by organising their own transport. In combination, this means Memory Lane enables special experiences and creates lasting memories with loved ones.
