People & Culture Advisor – Permanent Full Time, $90-$95k plus salary packaging

We strive towards improving the health and wellbeing of our rural communities and believe in creating opportunities so all Victorians have the choice to access essential primary health care services. About the Role Flying Doctors Victoria are now accepting applications for a permanent full time People & Culture Advisor role within our tight-knit and expanding People & Culture department.With a strong focus on leadership coaching, the successful applicant will be the primary business partner for our Mobile Patient Care (MPC) department, a vital health service providing non-emergency patient transport from 21 road bases located throughout Victoria and New South Wales. Reporting to the P&C Manager, the P&C Advisor is responsible for providing effective advice and guidance to the MPC Leadership Team and staff on all People and Culture matters. The role will work with the Head of Service Delivery and Regional Managers to develop People Plans delivering across culture and engagement initiatives, people processes, performance matters, change management, industrial relations and workforce planning.We are seeking candidates with:Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or business related disciplinePrevious experience in an HR generalist support or related HR roleCoaching capability enabling managers to deliver effective HR outcomesExposure to Industrial Relations and managing complex people issuesDemonstrated experience interpreting HR related policies and legislationProject management and customer service skillsApplicants must have full, unrestricted Australian working rights and will be required to provide a satisfactory police check and Victorian WWCC if successful.This is an exciting opportunity to work for an iconic Australian charity that promotes a supportive and inclusive working culture, offers a flexible working environment and attractive employee benefits.If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been looking for and you’re passionate about making a difference to the lives of regional and rural Victorians send through a copy of your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
