Operations Team Leader – RFDS Health Group – Robinvale

This role will support the existing General Practice and build a sustainable multidisciplinary team to provide safe, quality primary health care services within Robinvale and surrounds.  About the roleThe RFDS Health Group Operations Team Leader is part of the RFDS Primary Health team and leads a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, quality primary care services within the region of North West Victoria.  Working in conjunction with the Health Services Manager and GP Clinical Lead, the Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of program coordination and operations. They will also contribute to strategic planning that deliver the organisation strategy and promote the organisation vision.Key responsibilities:Manage all aspects of program coordination and service operations for RFDS Health Group to ensure a safe and efficient serviceDevelop, implement and review the program processes, including supporting documentation on an ongoing basisContribute to strategic planning and ongoing sustainabilityPromote health programs to clients, stakeholders and other relevant partiesManage program staff and contractors including personnel recruitment, retention and ongoing supervision of direct reports, which may include some staff that are located off-siteProactively maintain excellent communication with all program staffWork collaboratively, building business relationships with relevant stakeholdersRetain and attract customers, clients and primary healthcare providersAct as an escalation point for staff to manage service issues so that risks are identified and mitigatedActively participate in quality initiativesAttend and contribute to relevant organisational committees as subject matter expert.Qualification skills and Experience:A qualification or experience in the management of health programs or business managementManagement experience, including financial management in either a corporate or clinical management settingStrong project management skills Holder of a current National Police check and Working with Children’s checkClinical qualification and experience in a Primary Health Care discipline will  be desirableExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, motivate, consult and negotiate, while building and maintaining relationships at all levelsWorking knowledge of the Australian and Victorian health care landscape and Medicare funding models will be desirable.Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role and address the key selection criteria via the Apply Now button by 9 February 2023.Applications will be assessed as received and only applicants shortlisted for an interview will be contacted directly. We reserve the right to close this ad before the advertised date if the right candidate is found so please ensure you submit your application as soon as possible. RFDS is committed to creating a diverse working environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. PD - Operations Team Leader - RFDS Health Group AUD Robinvale 3549
