First Aid Responder: Levels 1,2,3

The OrganisationProudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service provides emergency aeromedical and health care services for people in rural and remote regions across Australia. Mobile Patient Care (MPC) is a service division of RFDS Victoria, providing non-emergency patient transport services in both rural and metropolitan locations across VIC, NSW and TAS.The RoleThe primary purpose of this role is to represent the Royal Flying Doctor Service brand at various Melbourne public events, including the Spring Racing Carnival. This will include talking and interacting with the public and providing basic first aid treatment to members of the public. Key responsibilities will include:Provision of first aid to the general public Present and promote an image of Royal Flying Doctor Service to the general public. Demonstrate and promote safe work practices.This role involves mingling and walking around crowds.At times distribute promotional material for RFDS.Represent the values of the brand.Qualifications and Experience:Nationally accredited first aid coursePrior experience in high pressure or busy environmentsCustomer relations/service experienceAdditional requirements:Hold a satisfactory National Police Check completed within the last 6 months.Hold a current Working With Childrens Check for employment.Provide a satisfactory driving history report.Full immunisation history in accordance with AV guidelines.RFDS policies require that mandatory immunisations must be obtained by any new staff members prior to commencement of work. Please be aware that if you don't have all the immunisations required, you may not be immediately eligible for a role within Mobile Patient Care.
