Branch Coordinator – Kyneton – Full Time

The OrganisationProudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service provides emergency aeromedical and health care services for people in rural and remote regions across Australia. Mobile Patient Care (MPC) is a service division of RFDS Victoria, providing non-emergency patient transport services in both rural and metropolitan locations across VIC and NSW.Position PurposeThe Branch Coordinator is appointed for a 12 month fixed term and is a higher duties role in addition to normal on road duties e.g. PTO or ATA. The position is responsible for ensuring high quality and proactive administration of branch operations in accordance with current RFDS policies and procedures.Key Responsibilites:Maintain accurate inventory levels and secure storage of PPE and consumables in accordance with the current RFDS policy.Work with the branch Medication Champion to ensure that all medication management procedures are being followed by staff.Ensure accurate and timely ordering of consumables and medications.Ensure an effective and compliant clinical waste disposal program as per current policy and procedure.Ensure vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance are carried out in in a timely fashion in conjunction with RFDS Fleet and Asset Coordinators.Monitor vehicle cleaning and maintain records of branch cleaning being performed in accordance with RFDS infection prevention protocols.Work with HSR/OHS Representative to ensure MSDS sheets are up to date and accessible at all times.Undertake audits of the branch in line with the RFDS Victoria audit schedule requirements.Complete reporting as directed to support benchmarking with other branches.Ensure Oxygen cylinders are stored in accordance with guidelines and that no excess cylinders are being held.Maintain quality records for administration and inventory management purposes.Ensure a compliant paperwork scanning, storage and disposal program is in place that complies with patient privacy regulation.Maintain mop maintenance program that complies with current infection control requirements.Maintain a storage program for consumables and linen that complies with infection control requirements.Submit for approval via the Regional Manager any expenditure for items other than recurring consumable purchases or routine maintenance.Provide support and act as a delegate of the Regional Manager.Provide regular updates and reports to Regional Managers on branch performance.Conduct regular staff meetings and assist with training sessions.This is an exciting opportunity to work for an iconic Australian charity that promotes a supportive and inclusive working culture, offers a flexible working environment and exciting employee benefits.If this sounds like the job for you please click apply to start your application, including your resume and a cover letter (applications received without a cover letter will not be considered) outlining your suitability for the role by 20/6/22.*Please ensure you complete your application fully by checking your email and following the links to our external application page*RFDS is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Position Description AUD Kyneton 3444
