The School

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School has over 2900 students from K-12 at campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East. The School provides a diamond education, with a co-educational Kindergarten programme, single-sex education at the Junior Schools and Middle Schools from Years 7 to 10 and co-education at the Larkin Centre (Years 11 to 12).

The Role

We are seeking dynamic and creative Physical Education & Health Teachers to teach practical PE Movement and Wellbeing classes to students in Years 7 to 12. The positions may teach at the Larkin Centre (co-educational Years 11 and 12) and Gottliebsen House, Middle School Boys (Years 7 to 10). We have two positions available: a full-time position from Monday 17 June to Friday 30 August 2024 and a part-time position (approximately 0.75) from Monday 17 June to Friday 13 September 2024.

The successful candidates will demonstrate they are:

• Knowledgeable in teaching PE & Movement;
• Committed to student care and wellbeing; and
• Committed to delivering a high quality programme;
• Eligible to work in Australia; and
• VIT registered with relevant qualifications.
