PEGS promotes the safety, well-being and participation of all students, including supporting children from culturally diverse backgrounds and those with individual needs.The School provides a diamond education, with a co-educational Kindergarten programme, single-sex education at the Junior Schools and Middle Schools from Years 7 to 10 and co-education at the Larkin Centre (Years 11 to 12). The RoleApplications are invited from dynamic Instrumental Music Teachers of Violin/Viola with a growth mindset to join our vibrant Music Department. You will be suitably qualified and experienced in teaching violin/viola and demonstrate an ability to engage students in the programme, work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and staff. This is a part-time (approx. 0.2 to 0.3) ongoing position, with the preferred working day being Thursday. This position is commencing Term One, on 29 January 2024, and within the role, you will have the opportunity to teach both primary and secondary students.The position involves teaching individual violin/viola lessons, directing, assisting or conducting music ensembles, and participating in other music programs as required.Applicants must be suitably qualified and experienced in teaching violin/viola and must hold VIT registration or a current Working With Children Check. You must also be eligible to work in Australia.
