Secondary Teacher of ICT and/or Business Management

The School

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School has over 2900 students from K-12 at campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East. The School provides a diamond education, with a co-educational Kindergarten programme, single-sex education at the Junior Schools and Middle Schools from Years 7 to 10 and co-education at the Larkin Centre (Years 11 to 12).

The Role

Expressions of interest are invited from engaging and passionate secondary teachers of ICT and/or Business Management who are outstanding classroom teachers; knowledgeable in the curriculum area and in current pedagogical thinking; and committed to student wellbeing.

This part time (approx 0.57 over 4 days) fixed term replacement position is teaching at the Middle Schools Boys and the Larkin Centre (co-educational), based at the Keilor East campus commencing 15 July to 13 December 2024 with potential to become permanent. Subject to availability, additional casual relief teaching work may also be offered.

The successful candidate will demonstrate they are:

• Strong professional curriculum and pedagogical knowledge of ICT and/ or Business Management 
• An excellent communicator with strong organisational skills;
• Experienced in teaching secondary students;
• Aligned with the school's values and policies; 
• Committed to delivering a high-quality programme;
• Eligible to work in Australia; and
• VIT registered with relevant qualifications.
