The RoleThe School seeks an experienced OHS and HR professional to join the team to develop and maintain OHS and HR systems and processes across all campuses. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, and working wth one other OHS and HR Coordinator, you will provide support to the School leadership in implementing effective OHS and HR practices. You will innovate and drive continual improvement in OHS, ensuring regulatory compliance as a minimum and support and drive HR initiatives and processes. This is a generalist role with variety and challenge, with the opportunity to work across a range of OHS and HR projects in a small team. This is a 12 month fixed term parental leave position commencing late February 2022. Hours of work can be over 4 or 5 days, with the ability to choose your preferred days of work.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:Relevant qualifications 3+years OHS & HR experience, including knowledge of OHS and HRIS systems, with experience within education would be an advantageAn understanding of OHS and HR legislationAn ability to hit the ground runningExcellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environmentEngaging, friendly and keen to work in a fast paced and varied environmentThe School is committed to child safety and applicants must be willing to provide a valid Working With Children Check and be fully covid vaccinated.
