PEGS promotes the safety, wellbeing and participation of all students, including supporting children from culturally diverse backgrounds and those with individual needs.The RoleThe School is inviting applications for onsite School Traffic Marshals at the Keilor East campus. Traffic Marshals will support the staff in instructing drivers on campus to safely drop off and pick up students, assisting students crossing internal roads and supporting safe traffic flow. School Traffic Marshals are expected to work during school terms only. The Role

You must have:

  • Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with students, parents and staff in a professional manner
  • Ability to instruct and direct pedestrians and drivers to uphold safe practices and support traffic flow
  • Ability to speak and read English and understand road signs
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shifts
  • A valid Working With Children Check (employee) and current satisfactory criminal record check
