You will lead school church services, provide pastoral support and teach some Religious Education classes to Middle School boys and/or girls from Years 7 to 9.About the Chaplaincy RoleAs a School Chaplain, you will be able to demonstrate your spiritual commitment and support for community activities. You will have a proven ability to support and inspire students in their spiritual education and wellbeing.You will provide advice and support to the Principal and the Senior Management Team and lead the staff in delivering the Christian values at the school. You are a vital member of the School’s wellbeing team caring for all members of the school community. Responsibilities also include attending school assemblies and working within our co-curricular program.About the Teaching RoleThe School Chaplain teaches Religious Education for approximately 12 lessons per week in the Middle Schools.About YouYou will be an engaging and experienced Chaplain and teacher of Religious Education. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, a caring, warm and pro-active approach, an understanding of the key issues in education and be willing to contribute to co-curricular activities.
