Maintenance Assistant


The RoleWe are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities team to support the day-to-day maintenance of our school's buildings and facilities. This full-time ongoing position commencing in July 2025 will be based at the Keilor East campus, but you will work across other campuses as required.This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping facilities running smoothly, and is eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment. Duties include:Support the Facilities Manager / Carpenter with ad-hoc tasks as required.Respond to maintenance requests, including general repairs (to windows, locks and cabinetry), painting, cleaning tasks and troubleshoot issues.Support preventative maintenance programsComply with school policies, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, and legal requirements.Benefits:A collaborative team environmentExcellent facilities and resourcesCompetitive salary and salary packagingAccess to an Employee Assistance ProgramRostered Days OffThe School is committed to child safety and applicants must be willing to provide a valid Working With Children Check and be eligible to work in Australia.
