The RolePenleigh and Essendon Grammar School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Woodwind (Flute) to join our vibrant community. As an Instrumental Music Teacher, you will provide individual lessons and support ensembles, teaching students from Year 3 to Year 12 and fostering their musical growth and development.This part-time position (approximately 0.4 FTE) is a fixed-term role for Term 1 of the 2026 school year, commencing from 27 January 2026 to 2 April 2026. The required working days are Wednesdays and Fridays, and you will be teaching across the Moonee Ponds and Keilor East campuses.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching Woodwind (Flute)Ability to engage and inspire students in individual instrumental lessons and ensemblesAbility to work effectively with students, parents, and staffSupport for a culture of thinking, student care, and wellbeingSupport for the school's music events and activitiesApplicants must be suitably qualified and experienced, holding either VIT registration or a current Working With Children Check.
