The RolePenleigh and Essendon Grammar School are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Chinese Woodwind to join our vibrant community. This part-time (approximately 0.2 FTE), which must be a Thursday, is an ongoing position that commences on 28 January 2025 and involves teaching at the Keilor East campus.As an Instrumental Music Teacher, you will provide individual lessons and support ensembles, teaching students from Year 7 to Year 12 and fostering their musical growth and development.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching Chinese WoodwindAbility to engage and inspire students in the programme, in individual instrumental lessons and in supporting ensemblesAbility work effectively with students, parents and staffSupport for a culture of thinking and student care and wellbeingSupport for the School's music events and activitiesApplicants must be suitably qualified and experienced and hold either VIT registration or a current Working With Children Check.
