This is a part-time (approx. 0.5) ongoing position working 20 hours over 4 or 5 days per week (hours to be negotiated). Based at Keilor East, this role offers the opportunity to work across all campuses and make a significant impact on our school community.Key Responsibilities:Assist with recruitment and onboardingSupport diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitmentAssist with planning and implementing staff orientation and inductionsProvide accurate HR administration support, including assisting with reports, contract variations, and maintaining HR recordsSupport HR projects to strengthen staff culture and wellbeing initiativesThe successful candidate will have:Relevant HR administrative experience (1-2 years), preferably in an educational environmentHR or Business Administration qualificationsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organisational and planning abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Suite and HR systemsCommitment to professional learning and continuous improvementAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA commitment to child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children with diverse needs and backgroundsCurrent Working with Children Check The SchoolPenleigh and Essendon Grammar School has over 3,000 students from K-12 at campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East. The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and HR systems
  • Commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Current Working with Children Check
