The RoleAn exceptional leader of sport and an outstanding educator and administrator is sought to coordinate a large staff to deliver a high quality, engaging sports programme for over 700 boys from Years 7 to 12. In addition, he or she will teach Physical Education or other classes as agreed.Reporting to the Director of Sport, the Coordinator of Sports (boys) is responsible for the effective administration and coordination of all sports competitions for boys. The school is affiliated with the AGSV and APS and over 1300 secondary students (boys and girls) compete in weekday and weekend sporting competitions.The successful applicant will secure a full-time permanent position as a teacher and a four year tenured position as a Coordinator of Sport (boys).The successful candidate will be passionate about sport and able to effectively engage students in the sports programme. He or she will have excellent organizational, administrative and planning skills and the ability to liaise effectively with students, staff, internal and external coaches and parents.
