We care, we listen and we always want to be better! About the Role: Rare opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our driven, fast-paced and collaborative Finance team!Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will be but not limited to:Prepare and post financial data into general ledgers; accurately maintaining the general ledgersManage expense accruals and prepayments, and other month end tasks including balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare BAS, FBT, PAYG withholding, payroll tax, super and workers compensation returnsLodge JobKeeper monthly declarationsAssist in preparation of year-end financial statements and tax returnAssist in budgeting and forecasting   Liaise with external auditors and provide information where necessaryAssist with new company (Joint Venture) setup documentation and processesAdhoc duties when requiredAbout You:Minimum 4-5 years experience with similar responsibilities and business structure. Financial knowledge in the Healthcare/Medical industry is a plus but not essential.CA/CPA qualified and Big 4/Audit trainedAdvanced Excel skills are essentialExcellent attention to detail, time management skill and ability to work independentlyStrong interpersonal skill and clear communication skill in both written and verbal formsExperience in using KeyPay, Microsoft BC and Deputy is highly desirable but not essential.*We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law AUD Sydney 2000
