This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your career with one of the fastest growing retail brands in Australia.Due to significant company growth, we are looking for a Company Accountant to join the Oscar Wylee team in Sydney's CBD.The role:Your responsibilities includes but not limited to:Accounts receivables, payables and invoicingPrepare monthly and ad hoc financial and management reports by collecting dataAnalysing and investigating variances; summarising data, information and trendsProcess payroll on a fortnightly basisBAS and Payroll Tax lodgements and other relevant statutory returns e.g. workers compensationAssist in the preparation of the budget/forecast in AdaptiveAnalyse monthly operating results for storesManage corporate cards and fraud programVarious project workVarious support to store managersApplication of best practice and compliance across all activitiesFixed assets controlsWhat you will need to be successful:CPA or CA preferred3 years' experience working in an accounting role in a large businessStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAdvanced Excel is a MUSTHigh attention to detail, strong problem solving skills, and fast keystroke data entry essentialExperience in working in retail environment would be a plusHOW TO APPLYTo apply, please send us your resume with a cover letter addressing your suitability for the role.Please note before submitting an application: as a company, we take hiring very seriously.
