About the Role:Due to our recent growth and internal movement, we are excited to welcome an experienced Company Accountant with a "can do" attitude to join our finance team. Key Responsibilities:Coordination of monthly reporting, including weekly reporting and month-end reporting.Assist and review all coding of payable invoices, ensure cost are continually monitored and appropriately allocated to departments and in accordance to budgetPrepare and lodge monthly BAS / GST Return and Annual Income Tax returnRegular monthly accounting, including general ledger maintenance and preparation of monthly balance sheet recsLiaising with senior management and resolving queriesOther adhoc tasksExperience and Skills:CA/CPA Qualified3-4 year’s accounting experiencesSound knowledge of accounting and other financial conceptsExperience using XERO and MYOBPlanning and organisational skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailCommitment, tenacity and resilience to enable deadlines to be metExcellent written and verbal communicationExperience in retail/optical industries will be highly desirable  We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law AUD Sydney 2000
