Using their breadth of knowledge they will provide day to day leadership, coaching and direction to their direct reports.HR StrategyProvide thought and business leadership on emerging hr trends and their application to sass & bide;In conjunction with ceo, develop and execute agreed hr strategy to deliver on sass & bide’s business objectives and financials within agreed budgets;Monitor benefits gained from people initiatives and report return on investment;Organisational Design and DevelopmentProvide recommendations on optimal staffing structures to deliver on business strategies and future growth opportunities;Identify minimum staffing levels to facilitate workflows, effective managerial control and accountability;Consult with senior leadership team to ensure job design/descriptions and capabilities meet business requirements;Ensure capability development, succession and workforce planning support improves business performance and growth;In consultation with senior managers, develop and implement initiatives to improve leadership capability that supports current leaders and builds a strong talent pipeline;Talent Attraction, Selection and RetentionDevelop employer brand initiatives that evolve sass & bide’s employment brand to improve candidate attraction;Embed fit-for-purpose cost effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent;Provide support to senior managers on the recruitment of key roles;Manage and enhance performance frameworks to ensure expectations and goals are clear, high performers are rewarded and retained and poor performers are appropriately supported and managed;Redevelop existing performance appraisal process to support business requirements;Engagement Develop internal feedback channels to connect with employees and gain information on current engagement levels;Tailor employee engagement initiatives at need areas identified from above survey feedback  and in line with best practice as prescribed by the "aon hewitt employer of choice" guidelines;ER, WHS and ComplianceManage employment relations and workplace health and safety strategy including compliance to all related statutory and legal requirements domestically and internationally;Report on key data on employment related metrics for corporate governance to ceo and cfo for shareholder as required:Continued policy development and communication to employees:Ensure legislative compliance in all areas of the employee lifecycle and provide coaching and development to business on these areas;LeadershipLead, coach and develop your team in their current role and toward their career goals;Manage poor performance promptly and professionally;Manage high performance through development planning;Create succession plans for your team;Be a change champion within the business;Be a leadership role model within business;Person Specificationprior hr management experience in a retail business at a senior level;established expertise in managing employee relations matters including responding to complaints lodged through fwc;established expertise in end to end recruitment and performance (both high and poor) management;experience partnering with senior leaders;you’re an able multitasker, prioritising your workload appropriately;you’re customer centric – everything you do is with our customer in mind;you have a strong focus on developing & sustaining collaborative and productive relationships;you are creative, innovative & you think differently in dealing with both opportunities and issues;you’re a strong, clear & concise communicator;you provide feedback as & when required to all levels of the business;you are organised & efficient, with a strong focus on achieving results;you are passionate about leading the culture of fashionIf you think above is you and want to work for three of Australias most loved brands, please apply now.  AUD Sydney 2000
