We foster a culture where safety is prioritised and valued by every member of our team.  We are seeking applications from experienced HD Fitters, working on a 6:3 roster, FIFO from any major capital city around the world. Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, this key position will provide an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced Underground Mining professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment. Duties and Responsibilities; Carry out scheduled servicing to mobile equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with procedures, regulations and the service sheet; Utilise skill and experience to create minimum downtime on machinery; Ensure correct recording and reporting of maintenance is achieved; Maintain a high level of housekeeping in workshop and working areas at all times, ensure all parts are kept at minimum stock levels.Read and interpret Service and Spare parts manuals.Report all equipment faults to the Maintenance Foreman for scheduling into the workshop weekly Minimum Requirement Key requirements:  Strong background working with underground mining equipment with a minimum of 5 years experience in a high speed development, mechanised mine. Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalentHigh degree of knowledge and skill in troubleshooting problems on electric hydraulic drilling equipmentUnderstanding maintenance procedures.National Police Clearance (within 6 months) and valid Driver’s License Prior to hire you will be required to undergo a full pre-employment medical, including vaccinations required for the country you will be working in. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration, including regular incentive bonuses. Click on the Apply button to start your journey and join the Barminco team today.
