We foster a culture where safety is prioritised and valued by every member of our team.  We are seeking applications from experienced Jumbo Operator, working on a 6:3 roster, FIFO from any major capital city around the world. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this key position will provide an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced Underground Mining professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment. Duties and Responsibilities Safely bolt, mesh and bore multiple headings per shift Decline, incline and level development Installing ground support as per standard and requirements Competently communicate & liaise with charge up operators, engineering & maintenance personnel Keep accurate records of activities in accordance with established standards Monitor machinery condition, addressing hazards requiring attention and reporting concerns early Providing guidance, training, support to Jumbo Offsider to maximise production Key requirements:  Demonstrated experience in Front-line development jumbo roles (250+ meters per month) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Front-line operator in high-speed development mechanised mines. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve a minimum of two (2) each 4.9m cuts per shift bolt, mesh and bore. Using the Jumbo to suit conditions of the ore drive. Experience in all aspects of high speed, mechanised mine development in an underground contracting mining environment.  All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences (RPL’s)National Police Clearance (within 6 months) and valid Driver’s License Demonstrated diverse leadership experience in previous roles Prior to hire you will be required to undergo a full pre-employment medical, including vaccinations required for the country you will be working in. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration, including regular incentive bonuses. Click on the Apply button to start your journey and join the Barminco team today.
