We currently have an opportunity for a Video & Digital Content Creator to join our Digital, Brand, and Content team on a full-time basis at our club headquarters at The Hangar, Melbourne Airport.The Video & Digital Content Creator will help produce engaging and entertaining content for the club’s multiple digital platforms – both video and written. The content will provide Essendon members with behind the scenes access, compelling stories – including the club’s 150th year celebrations - and match highlights. The role will also provide digital media support to the club’s multiple departments.Reporting to the Head of Digital, Brand and Content, the successful candidate will:Film and edit media conferences, injury updates, training sessions, interviews and 150 year content;Upload videos to the VMS and assisting in archiving vision;Build new, innovative formats of video content across many platforms including a focus on social media channels;Manage Club VFL/ VFLW video content;Collaborate with other departments to produce high-quality content for the club’s multiple business departments and commercial partners; andProduce video content for club events and match daysTo be considered for the role, candidates must have the following essential skills and experience:Graduate qualifications in multimedia and video productionExperience in producing end-to-end contentA background in video and audio productionProficient in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro CCExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of web-based content management systems (CMS)A natural creative with a sharp, strategic mind who can hit the ground runningStrong work ethic and a preparedness to work irregular hours according to the demands of professional football industry, including evenings, weekends and potential interstate travelPermanent Residency in Australia, or an appropriate visa to work permanentlyCurrent Working With Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
