To do this, we have strong commercial partnerships and innovate with non-traditional ventures, such as our Essendon Education Academy and EFC Investment Fund, so that we can deliver world class events, give back to our fans, run community programs and ultimately, strive toward our next premiership.About the roleReporting to the Head of VFLW, the VFLW Head Physiotherapist leads a team that provide a world class physiotherapy service at the Essendon Football Club. Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary department the role spans injury diagnosis, management and prevention. The Head Physio will help coordinate the medical and S&C teams, as well as other physios to ensure each individual player receives the preparation, education and care they need to perform optimally.The Head Physio will play an essential role in ensuring the coaching group understand the medical and physical needs of each player and that the senior coach understands each players capacity to undertake or complete each training session and their availability for match selection during the season.About youThe ideal candidate will have experience working within an elite sporting environment and have emergency on-filed care experience.
