Exciting new opportunity for a Head of Property to join Essendon Football Club (EFC) and be responsible for managing our property and maintenance portfolio of The NEC Hangar (Melbourne Airport), Windy Hill (Essendon) and Melton Country Club (Melton)About usEssendon FC - "The Bombers" - are a professional sporting team in the Australian Football League. To do this, we have strong commercial partnerships and innovate with non-traditional ventures, such as our Essendon Education Academy and EFC Investment Fund, so that we can deliver world class events, give back to our fans, run community programs and ultimately, strive toward our next premiership. About the roleWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Property who will be responsible for managing the property and maintenance portfolio across our three sites:Essendon Football Club (NEC Hangar), Melrose Drive, TullamarineWindy Hill Precinct, Napier Street, Essendon including the overall precinct site maintenance and related tenancies, Windy Hill Venue (Hospitality & Gaming Club) and Community Health Club  .Melton Country Club (Hospitality & Gaming Club, Melton)Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Head of Property will ensure EFC maintains world-class facilities that EFC People, teams and members can be proud of. The role includes, but is not limited to:Responsibility for the development and implementation of the Club’s Facilities Management strategy (across all 3x operating venues)Leading and supervising our  Facilities Management team (2x direct reports).Manage the delivery of all Facilities Management services, asset portfolio management, key internal stakeholder management, tenant liaison and contractor management.Deliver superior customer service and develop key tenant stakeholder engagement by providing effective and timely communications to our tenants and stakeholders.Ensuring compliance with accreditation and building regulations.Project management responsibility of all facility maintenance/upgrade projectsManage operating expenditure, budgeting, produce and present monthly reporting and financial reporting.The role will be required to attend match days at The NEC Hangar and managing out of hours call outs relating to security breaches or other facility related emergencies from time to time.  About youAs the leader of  our Facilities Management team, you will have previous experience in Site, Property or Facility/Asset Management coupled with Tertiary qualifications in Property, Project Management, Construction, or other relevant fields.You will be highly organised, and thrive on structure, whilst working closely with procedures.
