If you enjoy being out on the road, meeting people and helping your local community, this role is a great fit.Our volunteer food rescue truck drivers pick up surplus food from local supermarkets and food donors, delivering it to our community partners and neighbourhood centres.You'll be part of a supportive team that ensures good food is saved from landfill and redirected to local people and communities doing it tough.Shifts are flexible to suit your availability.   5. Strong communication skills for coordination between food rescue partners, food relief partners and Community Gateway.

Desirable

  1. Previous experience working with Cold Chain Management.
  2. Previous experience driving a small truck under 5-tonne.

Important conditions

  • You must be over 23 years of age
