Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Certificate III in Children’s Services or at least 12 months experience in a similar role

  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a team

  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time Our Place learning framework

  • Ability to develop meaningful and respectful relationships with children

  • Awareness of child development and the role of structured and unstructured activities

  • Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusive practices

Desirable

  • Experience using digital childcare platforms (e.g. OWNA)

Requirements
  • NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle

  • Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • First Aid in Education and Care Setting (or willingness to complete)

  • Completion of, or willingness to complete, a recognised Child Protection course
