Are you looking for meaningful work during the school holidays? Do you enjoy creating fun, safe, and engaging environments for children?
Rainbow Region Kids, a program of Northern Rivers Community Gateway, is seeking enthusiastic casual Educators to support our Vacation Care programs during the school holidays. Shifts are available 5 days a week between 7:00am and 6:00pm, with shifts up to 8 hours per day.

About the RoleAs a Vacation Care Educator, you will:
Support the delivery of fun, creative, and safe full-day programs for children aged 5â12
Create engaging play experiences and activities aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework
Build supportive, positive relationships with children and your fellow team members
Supervise children across structured and unstructured indoor and outdoor activities
Work across various school sites in the Northern Rivers region
25% casual loading on top of base pay
A supportive, child-safe and inclusive workplace
Real opportunities to continue working casually with us in Before & After School Care after the holiday period

Essential:
Relevant experience in a similar role working with children (e.g. in education, care, support or recreation settings)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of child development and play-based learning
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time, Our Place
Desirable:
Certificate III in Children’s Services
NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid in Education and Care Setting (or willingness to complete)
Completion of or willingness to complete a Child Protection course
NSW Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
