Essential Role Requirements:Directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and workersSafely escorting vehicles to where they need to beSigning off muck-away, plant deliveries etcStrict PPE adherence, including wearing high-visibility clothing, helmets, boots gloves etc.Proficient in setting up and maintaining traffic control equipment such as cones, barricades, signs, and temporary traffic lights to guide traffic safely through the work zone and minimize disruptions to traffic flowConfident interacting with members of the public, including motorists, pedestrians, and local residents, to provide information, directions, or assistance as needed, while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all timesAble to communicate effectively with site teamAble to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, accidents, or incidents within the work zone, such as providing first aidKeeping accurate records and documentation of traffic control activities, including daily logsDesirable:Gateman or Storeman experienceGeneral Expectations:Reliable & punctualAble to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on timeRight to work in the UKCards & Qualifications Required:CPCS/NPORS* Traffic Marshall/Vehicle BanksmanAdditional/Desirable Cards & Qualifications:First Aid at Work* Please note that to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards affiliated with CSCS and carrying the CSCS hologram.
