We’re seeking experienced Finishers who take pride in delivering precise, high-quality final works and ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.

The Role

As a Finisher, you will play a key role in the final stages of groundwork and concrete frame projects, ensuring all elements are completed to specification, on time, and to a high standard of workmanship.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Carrying out finishing works to kerbs, edgings, slabs, and concrete surfaces
  • Ensuring all external works are completed to line, level, and specification
  • Completing snagging and final quality checks on groundwork packages
  • Installing and finishing manholes, covers, and frames
  • Trowelling, patching, and making good concrete and surfaces
  • Working from drawings and setting out details where required
  • Supporting groundwork teams to bring projects to completion
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Adhering to all site health & safety standards
Essential Requirements
  • CSCS Card (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Finisher within groundworks or concrete frame projects
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Good understanding of levels, alignment, and finishing standards
  • Strong awareness of site health & safety
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • CPCS / NPORS tickets (CSCS-affiliated)
  • Experience in kerbing, paving, and external finishing works
  • Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques
  • Experience using laser levels or setting out equipment
  • Dumper / Roller / Excavator tickets
  • 5+ years of experience in groundworks or finishing roles
  • Established gangs or teams with a strong track record
