You will make an impact by Advising on and planning effective community engagement activities. Developing and maintaining engagement tools and resources. Researching and implementing innovative engagement techniques. Collaborating with the Communications Team to create comprehensive communication plans. Supporting the online and offline engagement of Council projects. What you will bring To be successful in this role you will have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of Council officers from various professional disciplines and representatives of various government and community agencies. Tertiary qualifications (degree or diploma) in related field, such as community engagement, social sciences, community development, communications or public relations. IAP2 certification. Relevant previous experience in local government is preferred. Experience in a similar role. Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate and present information as required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in engagement processes.
