About the Opportunity

As Team Leader Civil Maintenance, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of civil services that align with Council objectives and community expectations. You will make an impact by
- Leading and mentoring a skilled civil maintenance team to deliver high-quality services.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including the Road Management Act and OH&S standards.
- Managing budgets and resources to maximise efficiency and value for money.
- Overseeing inspections and maintenance of roadsides, drainage systems, and bridges.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to solve infrastructure challenges.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated leadership experience in civil maintenance or a related field.
- Proven ability to supervise employees and contractors across various infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of underground drainage, roadside maintenance, and bridge works.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with teams and the community.
- Budget management expertise with a focus on optimising project outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
