About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Asset Management profession to step into a leadership opportunity as Coordinator Asset Management to provide high-level advice and support on asset renewal and replacement. This role will provide support and leadership to the team during a period of leave.
You will make an impact by
- Developing and maintaining a strategic asset management framework
- Leading the implementation and management of the Asset Management Information System (AMIS)
- Overseeing governance and corporate reporting
- Managing and delivering projects, including overseeing and supporting development of the Asset Plan
- Coordinating data collection and management
What you will bring
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to guide and support a high-performing team.
- Excellent project management capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Knowledge and proficiency in using Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS) a
- Experience in valuing, depreciating, capitalising and reporting on local government infrastructure in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and the requirements of the Victorian Auditor General’s Office
- Extensive experience in strategic asset management, including the development and implementation of asset management frameworks and systems will be highly regarded.
