Livestock Planner

About the RoleKick start your career with a leading FMCG family owned business! We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing Supply Chain team as a Livestock Planner based at our Wetherill Park site.  This is a perfect role for someone who excels in creating relationships with a range of vendors.Reporting through to the Procurement Manager for Meat & Livestock, this role involves the coordination and planning of livestock to meet the requirements of our de-boning plant.Your new role will include:Liaising with BEC producers on a weekly basis to establish their livestock supply numbers for the weekSupport and provide feedback to BEC producers to meet required product specificationsDevelop weekly supply plans that meet production floor capacities and product specificationsLiaise with processing facilities to plan daily and weekly processing numbersLiaise with transport companies to transport product from suppliers to processing facilities to the BEC production and warehousing facilitiesCoordinate with internal sales and production team to procure appropriate product volumes and quantity, while maintaining an appropriate buffer stockCarcass delivery reconciliation and ad hoc finance related enquiriesEnsuring producers meet BEC quality demand for carcass supplySupport the Meat & Livestock Manager in all functions of the Livestock Procurement processAbout UsEstablished in 1969, BE Campbell has grown to be one of Australia's largest family-owned meat operation, supplying supermarkets, restaurants, retail butchers, small-goods producers, and export channels.Driven by our purpose of ‘Enriching lives through wholesome food’, we are committed to creating innovative products for our customers whilst also having a positive impact on our community and environment.Our leading-edge manufacturing processes and dedicated team produce high quality food products across a range of fresh categories and sales channels.Employing over 600 staff across two processing sites in Western Sydney, we pride ourselves on an inclusive culture based on family values.About You We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong negotiation skills to join our Livestock team.  You will come with the ability to identify and drive opportunities and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment.  Whilst previous experience in fast moving consumer goods would be advantageous, we also encourage recent Supply Chain & Logistics graduates to apply for the role.
